WeBuyItForLife.com uses browser storage and, when configured and permitted, third-party analytics technologies on https://www.webuyitforlife.com. This page explains browser-local data separately from signed-in account data stored through WeBuyItForLife.com's server services.

Browser-Local Features

WeBuyItForLife.com uses localStorage for cart or shopping-list items, theme, recently viewed products, guest wishlist, guest owned products, local price alerts, and privacy preferences. This information stays in the browser that created it unless a feature explicitly syncs signed-in account data to the server.

LocalStorage is not the same as Cloudflare D1 account storage or Cloudflare R2 image storage. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browsers or devices, or browser retention rules may delete local items. Browser controls can inspect or clear this data, but clearing it may reset the corresponding feature.

Cart and Price Alerts

The cart is a local shopping list or order summary, not checkout, an inventory reservation, or an order record. Guest price alerts remain browser-local. Signed-in users can request server-backed product price alerts by email and, after granting browser permission, through Firebase Cloud Messaging. Alerts do not guarantee prices or availability.

Analytics and Similar Technologies

When configured and allowed by the saved preference and deployment settings, WeBuyItForLife.com may initialize Cloudflare Zaraz for delivery to Google Analytics and Amplitude, the standalone Amplitude Session Replay SDK, Microsoft Clarity, and Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure public-safe page, feature, network, and loading activity. Amplitude and Microsoft Clarity may create sampled session replays and aggregate click or scroll heatmaps on approved public pages. Inputs and editable content are masked, designated sensitive areas are blocked, and replay is disabled on excluded routes. Those providers may use cookies, IndexedDB, or comparable browser identifiers and storage under their own policies. WeBuyItForLife.com's event payload controls are designed to exclude passwords, authentication tokens, private emails, message bodies, review text, notes, and similar private content.

If no preference is stored, deployment configuration determines whether optional analytics can initialize. Saving “Reject optional storage” prevents WeBuyItForLife.com's optional analytics initialization on that browser unless you later change the preference. The marketing preference stores your choice but does not itself subscribe you to a newsletter.

Forms, Merchants, and Third Parties

Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser and request signals when a protected contact, legal-request, or review form is displayed or submitted. Following an outbound merchant or affiliate link takes you to a third party that may use its own cookies and receive ordinary request or referral information. Its privacy and cookie policies apply there.
