Review Policy

Scope and Rating Scale

WeBuyItForLife.com product reviews are contributions from authenticated users. A review uses an integer rating from 1 to 5 and may include a title, written experience, image, product-experience status, material-connection disclosure, and the reviewer's public display label. User review ratings are separate from WeBuyItForLife.com's 15-dimension editorial scores.

Experience and Ownership Labels

A reviewer must identify whether they own the product, have used it, or researched it without owning it. “Self-reported owner” means the user stated that they own the product; it is not proof of purchase or independent verification. Do not claim experience, duration of use, product version, or ownership that is not true.

Honesty and Material Connections

Reviews must reflect the reviewer's honest experience or clearly identified research. Reviewers must attest to honesty and disclose relationships that could affect how readers evaluate the review, including brand employment, a free or discounted product, payment to review, an affiliate or creator relationship, a family or friend relationship with the brand, or another material connection. Choosing “none” is a representation that no such connection applies.

Prohibited Review Conduct

Do not submit fake reviews; review a product you have not honestly evaluated; coordinate review brigading; buy, sell, trade, or condition reviews on a particular sentiment; conceal a material connection; impersonate another person; post the same review repeatedly; review the wrong product; manipulate ratings; or include harassment, hate or abuse, private data, malware, illegal content, unsafe advice, or infringing material.

Publication, Reporting, and Moderation

WeBuyItForLife.com may reject, hide, remove, restore, or preserve reviews; investigate reports; limit participation; and keep audit records when reasonably needed to enforce site policies. Reports may address suspicious or fake reviews, undisclosed incentives, wrong products, harassment, unsafe advice, copyright concerns, illegal content, spam, duplicates, irrelevant content, or other policy issues. A report starts a review process and does not guarantee removal or another outcome.

Reviews removed or excluded for policy violations do not contribute to the visible user-review aggregate. WeBuyItForLife.com does not promise that every published review is verified, accurate, representative, or free from undisclosed influence. The views belong to the reviewer and are not WeBuyItForLife.com's endorsement.
