Can I use the AM-570 in autoranging or manual-ranging mode?
Yes. Amprobe describes the AM-570 as supporting both autoranging and manual-ranging operation. Autoranging can select a measurement range automatically, while manual ranging lets the operator choose the range when a particular test or a more controlled reading is needed.
Can the AM-570 capture peak or changing readings?
Yes. Peak Hold (crest) captures and holds the peak value of a voltage or current surge. The meter also provides MIN/MAX recording for tracking minimum and maximum measurements over time, which Amprobe describes as useful for showing voltage fluctuations.
What does Relative Zero mode do on the AM-570?
Relative Zero displays the difference between the actual measurement and a stored reference value. Amprobe says the function can be used with any function or range, so it can help compare a later reading with a previously captured baseline.
