What is included with the GMMK PRO Barebones 75%?
The box includes the GMMK PRO keyboard, a 6-foot (1.83 m) braided USB cable, a switch puller, and a keycap puller. Because this is the barebones edition, switches and keycaps are not included and must be supplied separately.
Which switches can I install in the GMMK PRO?
The GMMK PRO uses 5-pin, south-facing hot-swappable sockets. Glorious recommends its own switches for optimal compatibility, while its guide also lists standard Cherry, Gateron, and Kailh switches as compatible examples. Switches are not included with the barebones board.
What operating systems and software does the GMMK PRO support?
The keyboard works with Windows 7 or later, macOS, and Linux through USB. Glorious CORE is not required for basic use, but on Windows it adds custom keybinds, macros, lighting effects, and saved profiles. The GMMK PRO is also fully compatible with QMK Firmware.
Can I replace parts on the GMMK PRO?
Yes. The hot-swappable sockets allow switches to be changed without replacing the whole board, and Glorious provides guides for replacing the top frame, switch plate, rotary knob, and other components. Glorious notes that it cannot provide comprehensive support for third-party firmware or parts.
What does the GMMK PRO rotary knob do?
In its standard configuration, rotating the knob adjusts the computer's volume and pressing it quickly mutes the computer. Glorious CORE can remap the knob's function, and the product guide notes that the rotary knob can be rebound to other commands.
What warranty coverage does the GMMK PRO have?
The GMMK PRO has a two-year limited manufacturer's warranty. Eligible devices can receive one additional year when registered within 365 days of purchase. Coverage is for manufacturing defects; the published terms exclude ordinary wear, abuse, improper use, water damage, and damage caused by opening the keyboard.
