What is the PM XTRA’s selectable 1 kHz low-pass filter for?
The selectable 1 kHz low-pass filter is available for AC-voltage measurements, including work such as measuring motor voltage at electronic frequency converters. When the filter is active, the input is checked for dangerous voltage by a comparator, and the display shows a high-voltage symbol when such voltage is detected.
