A PID controller regulates the coffee-brewing temperature and lets you adjust it for different coffees. The owner’s manual recommends 195–205°F (90–96°C) and explains that the temperature can be changed with the controller’s arrow keys after the machine is powered on.
Use cold, softened water and test its hardness before filling the reservoir; the manual says water under three grains of hardness is acceptable. Clean the reservoir at least weekly with mild dish detergent, rinse it thoroughly, and do not put it in a dishwasher.
The manual recommends plain-water backflushing at least once a week, using the supplied backflush disc. Backflush with espresso-machine cleaner approximately every one to two weeks depending on use, then rinse the portafilter and group thoroughly before making another drink.
Yes. The owner’s manual recommends replacing the group gasket yearly and describes removing the shower screen for cleaning or replacement. Chris’ Coffee’s Quick Mill collection also lists a Silvano Group Gasket, providing a current source for that model-specific replacement part.
The current Chris’ Coffee Silvano Evo listing includes a free two-year warranty from Chris’ Coffee. The owner’s manual likewise describes a two-year warranty from the original purchase date against defects in materials or workmanship and directs owners to contact the seller or distributor.
The machine includes a double-spout portafilter with single and double baskets, a backflush disc, group-cleaning brush, and a coffee scoop/tamper. These accessories support routine espresso preparation and the backflushing procedure described in the owner’s manual.
